Irene Osborne

Our Heritage Exhibition is an exciting glimpse into the historic past of WA and the lives of our early pioneers.

Irene often paints on location (en plein air) and this exhibition showcases a collection of her original paintings and prints of historic town murals (on archival museum quality paper) that Irene has painted across WA. When painting historic town murals, Irene is in awe of the strong and resilient people whose lives and stories have given us such a rich heritage. Our towns and cities stem from the efforts and adventures of our early pioneers.

This exhibition honours our pioneers and early settlers, with their mixture of struggle and achievement ,as they cleared the land by hand or with a horse and cart, for farming, homes, roads and towns and they did it all with great grit and determination,
