The Art of Nature
Tineke Van der Eecken is a Belgian born Australian artist with a multidisciplinary approach to articulate narratives of place that matter. She combines conceptualised ideas and skills in crafting jewellery, small sculptures, poetry and biological art. Since studying jewellery design and fabrication at TAFE in 2002-2003, Tineke has participated in 30 group exhibitions and 9 solo exhibitions in Australia, UK and Belgium. She has won small sculpture & jewellery awards in Melville, York and with the JMGA WA. In 2022 Tineke was Minderoo Artist Fund recipient. Her exhibition ‘Tributaries’ first shown at Mundaring Arts Centre in 2021 is touring WA with ‘Art on the Move.’ Tineke is currently preparing for a new exhibition in August 2024 to open during the Indian ocean Craft Triennial.

Carre Wylder is a New Zealand, Australian, British hybrid and has been a graphic designer and costume designer and owned Cooper Locke Gallery in London. Born into Art, her grandfather Richard Tennant Cooper, was a British painter whose work is shown in the V&A Museum , London Transport Museum and London War Museum. Carre trained in graphic design, fashion design, costume design and worked extensively in these disciplines throughout her career. Her first love has always been painting. She owned Cooper Locke Gallery in Hither Green, London showing her own work and local artists work and has sold all over the world. In 2016 Carre returned home to Australia and now paints full time in her studio in Hamilton Hill and mainly works in large abstract oils.
