Three Interpretations
Three artists interpret the landscapes and inhabitants of WA in a variety of styles and media.
BRIAN AYLWARD
Brian lives in the hills and has been a full time artist for over 30 years. He has had over 50 solo exhibitions and has won 90 commendations and awards.
At 83 years old, Brian still produces work in several media and in this exhibition has oils, acrylic, charcoal and mixed-media pieces.
LYNNE SCOTT
Lynne has just retired from working full time as a midwife and can now devote all her energy to her passion in life - painting.
Lynne has always been drawn to the artistic life and his is Lynne’s first exhibition of pastel landscapes.
SHARON BOXALL
Sharon lives in Toodyay and like Lynne she has a strong social conscience and is currently working at Silverchain. Sharon has been part of the art scene for many years as a model, gallery owner and artist. She is versed in several media and has chosen to present a variety in this exhibition. Both Lynne and Sharon were former students of Brian and have now all become firm friends. Bonded by a love of depicting the Australian landcape in Art.
